Welcome to WaveBus!

These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Agreement”) govern your use of the WaveBus website, booking platform, and chartered transport services (collectively, the “Service”). By booking a ride, using our website, or engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before continuing.

If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

1. About Us

WaveBus Pte Ltd (“WaveBus”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides safe, reliable, and professional chartered bus services across Singapore. We serve businesses, schools, communities, event organisers, and private individuals by offering customised transport solutions.

Our role may include providing transport directly or, in some cases, working with trusted third-party transport operators.

2. Eligibility & Responsibilities

By using the Service, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts.

  • The information you provide (e.g., for bookings or enquiries) is accurate and up to date.

  • You will not misuse the Service, including making fraudulent bookings or providing false information.

  • You will comply with all applicable laws in Singapore.

If you are booking on behalf of a company, school, or group, you confirm that you have authority to act for that organisation.

3. Booking & Confirmation

  • Bookings are confirmed once WaveBus provides written confirmation (via email, platform, or invoice).

  • All booking details (date, time, pickup, drop-off, passenger count, and any special requirements) must be accurate.

  • It is your responsibility to review and verify all booking details before the journey date.

4. Payments & Cancellations

Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, PayNow, and other methods as specified on our platform.

Payment Terms: Full payment or deposit (as stated in your invoice) must be made before the service date.

Non-Payment: WaveBus reserves the right to cancel or withhold services if payment is not received.

Cancellations:

  • More than 72 hours before trip: Full refund (minus admin fee, if applicable).
  • 24–72 hours before trip: 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours before trip: No refund.

Special arrangements (e.g., large fleet bookings, peak season events) may have customised cancellation terms stated in your confirmation.

5. Use of Services

To ensure safety and smooth operations, passengers agree to:

  • Arrive at pickup points on time.

  • Avoid smoking, drinking alcohol, or consuming illegal substances onboard.

  • Not carry dangerous goods (e.g., explosives, flammable items, weapons).

  • Respect drivers, staff, and other passengers.

  • Not damage or vandalise the vehicle.

WaveBus reserves the right to deny boarding or remove passengers who breach these rules without refund.

6. Vehicles & Availability

  • Vehicle type and capacity will match your booking request, subject to availability.

  • In rare cases where a specific vehicle class is unavailable, we may provide an equivalent or upgraded option at no extra cost.

  • WaveBus ensures all buses are regularly maintained, licensed, and driven by qualified drivers.

7. Delays & Service Limitations

While WaveBus strives for punctuality, external factors such as traffic, road closures, or weather conditions may cause delays. We are not liable for indirect losses caused by such events, though we will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruptions.

8. Liability

  • WaveBus is responsible for providing safe and professional transport services as agreed.

  • We are not liable for loss of personal belongings, indirect financial losses, or circumstances outside our control (e.g., accidents caused by third parties, traffic jams, or force majeure events).

  • Passengers are responsible for their conduct and belongings during the journey.

9. Third-Party Operators

At times, WaveBus may partner with approved third-party operators to meet service demand. These operators are carefully vetted, and your use of their services will still be governed by these Terms.

10. Changes & Modifications

WaveBus reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website. Continued use of our Service means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our [Privacy Policy]. By booking with WaveBus, you consent to the collection and use of your data for service delivery, safety, and communication purposes.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the Singapore courts.

13. Termination

WaveBus may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these Terms or misuse our platform. Termination does not remove your obligation to pay for completed or confirmed bookings.
